If you've never heard of or been to a car show that are missing. I'm not a big "car person", but I had a good time at the Philadelphia Auto Show.

In the Hall of Philadelphia AUTO have hundreds of cars on screen for you to try, take pictures, talking with a representative, or just spend time with other car enthusiasts. You walk from room room and there are cars everywhere. My husband wanted to go, so when they offered me a press ticket, I jumped at the chance.

Va in the lounge car had two cars he was considering for my next car - Subaru Forester and Honda CRV (pictured below). I currently drive a Subaru Forester 98 that I love, but is getting up there in age, and starting to fall apart, so we thought it was time to seek alternatives.

Honda CRV - 19mpg city/25 mpg road

Subaru Forester - 20 mpg city/25 mpg highway

After looking at and compare all the choices, my husband and I found that Honda was not an option. It gets only 19 miles per gallon, and my current car is better than that, and it's 12 years old and has over 80k miles on it. I it was cute and sporty, but not economic. The second car I never thought you could wish for the Subaru Forester, which remains my favorite in terms of visibility, shape, and fit for me, but we noticed small SUV that could do better than 20mpg city and 27 mpg on the highway. I still love this car the best, but may not be the best car, economically speaking.

After visiting all the car manufacturers come two new options for us: Hyundai Tucson and Toyota Rav 4.

Hyundai Tucson - city/29mpg 23mpg highway

Toyota Rav4 - 22mpg city / 28 hwy mph

I have several friends who have Hyundai Santa Fe and rave about them, but when we realized how little mpg, we were ready to leave the Hyundai section and keep looking, until we saw the Tucson. The Hyundai Tucson gets 23 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, which I think is really impressive for an SUV. I liked the shape of the car, visibility is determined (also get people on the road when I wanted to check), and the mpg! The other car we wanted was the Toyota Rav 4, but decided to cross that the list of possibilities because the style of the trunk door. Instead of opening the trunk, which swings out like a door, which means you have to be careful not to park close to the cars if you are carrying items in the trunk. I was no fan of that.

In general, the Auto Show was a very pleasant experience, and I firmly believe that the people to go when it comes to your area!
