1992 Honda Accord Transmission problem?
I found the recently-sustainable situation. When changing the position of parking position back, I found strong and consistent resistance. At some point I'm stuck in the parking lot. Often the security control on the handle releasing the stick of the stand, will not allow printing. I use great force for press-inch (slightly less resistance when going from back to the parking lot.) I am concerned that some broken gear? All other functions seem to be working well.
Not knowing if you have a scroll lock system in that car that requires you to have your foot on the brake to take the car out of the park, is likely. if that is the case, check your brake lights are working when you step on the brake. is not unusual for the brake light switch to fail and if that is the case of the interlock system will not know you have your foot on the brake or not so will not allow out of the park. That's the first thing you should check if you have brake lights, then check that the engine is mounted in the car. most likely the media break causing the engine and transmission to move in relation to the shift linkage. that could ccause the difficulty in getting the vehicle out of park. They have also found the relationship to see what's in the adjustment. the link is operated by cable and cable is extended over time. the likelihood is that their problem is not an internal transmission problem, but rather with the shift interlock or control changes. hope that helps
