No accident report, so will my car's body work appear in a carfax report?
I have no intention of being dishonest, but the damage was all cosmetic and I'd hate to miss out on a buyer because they see body work on a carfax report. Some woman lost control of her truck in a parking lot and hit my rear bumper. I wasnt even in in the car, so it wasn't like a normal accident. It was a brand new car, so her insurance agreed to use original new honda parts, and they even replaced the trunk lid which probably could've been fixed. Now I worry how it will appear on a carfax report. Any ideas?
If an insurance company took a report and fixed your vehicle than yes,your car information will be listed.
If you had gotten in to an accident and both parties did not report anything to any company or DMV and just fixed the cars are their own than no...nobody would no...sorry buddy.
