Honda Recalls 2001
Can it happen twice?
I have a 2001 Honda Civic - back in 2004 there was a recall on certain passenger vehicles that the low beam terminal on the head light wire harness could overheat and could cause the low beams to fail without warning. I brought my car in back in 2004 and had the dealer fix it.
I think it has happened again!
I have no low beams
High Beams & Driving Lights work fine
It's not a fuse (checked already)
Its not a relay (checked that already)
Filaments in the light bulbs are just fine.
Can a car have the same problem twice? (after having the dealer inspect and fix the recall?)
Car shops want me to pay up to $100 (including the honda dealership) to "find" the problem - when this problem emulates the previous problem in 2004. I find that absurd....

If i were you I would go to the shop have an unbiased one inspect it. if it is the wire harness then they have to replace it and pay the other shop bills (or reinburse you)
and I would tell them if they don't want to do that you will be going to talk to some legal counsel. good luck!
