Honda's sales growth may be a New Engine Plant

Honda Motor Co. expects to get a 5 percent increase in sales in the automotive market worldwide. The increase is attributed to the purchase of 3.55 million vehicles this year. Sales are also expected to increasingly rise, therefore, Honda plans opening a new engine plant in Japan to meet growing demand.

Honda to spend 25 billion yen (211 million) to build engine plant mentioned. The latter is intended to be built in Saitama prefecture (north of Tokyo). The Honda car production plant will begin in the middle 2009. Its annual production capacity is 200,000 units.

The automaker, famed for its self reliable Honda parts, has established a prestigious name in the manufacture of robots, motorcycles, light aircraft and cars. The assembly of Honda Civic auto parts and other cars and minivans are meticulously monitored to ensure the overall quality. Civic compact and Odyssey minivan are expected to produce an increase of 3 percent (about 1.51 million vehicles) of this year. The sales mark a good record of 10 continuous years.

In the United States, sales history of sport utility vehicles and light trucks is increasing. This is reflected in sales of Honda CR-V. In this sense, Honda saw an increase abroad as the land is No. 3 car in Japan. The data were reported by Takeo Fukui, Honda's president. Fukui said, "To meet the demand Honda's plant in Mexico will start making CR-Vs in late 2007. CR-V was only slightly from Civic. Honda CR-V parts are designed to meet the desires of sports fans. The 2007 version of the redesigned CR-V will be sharing the platform with Acura RDX.

"Overseas sales are booming in general, but conditions in the domestic market have been difficult," Fukui said. "We hope to strengthen our offering product market and revitalize the mark ".

Auto business is expected to be fast and sales are expected next year. But for Honda and automobile giants, sales have started at a brisk pace. In fact, in Europe this year, Honda made up 8 percent (about 310,000 units). It is expected to rise by 13 percent to 350,000 next year.
