My car battery is dying, do I need a capacitor/new alternator/better battery?

I drive a 2001 Honda Odyssey. I have an after-market sound system installed and my battery has died twice now. I just got a pioneer avic-d3 in-dash gps installed and my car battery died the next day after 45 minutes of driving and playing music. I was looking at other forums and some of the suggestions I saw involved getting a deep cycle battery from optima, upgrading my alternator, or installing a capacitor. Ever since I added the subs to my system my headlights began dimming at higher volume levels and if I played it too high the subs would cut out. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to fix my power problem?

There is a product made by soundstream that incorporates both a capacitor and battery in one unit. They are known as an scell's and have various models. They range from 300-1000 amperes and will keep your original battery from dying. If you killed your battery twice though, it sounds like you will need a new alternator as well due to it not keeping up with the previous demands. In short I would replace your alternator and install a soundstream scell-300 or scell-500. Do a search on those and you can buy them online from $100-$200.
