Honda Civic or the Toyota Yaris for first car?

Hi I have 18 years and have had my liscence for about 6 months or so ..... now that I've been driving 2000 Toyota Corolla my parents since I have my liscence and I will be soon getting a new graduate as a gift from my parents. I wonder what you think would a better car for my first? Honda Civic or a Toyota Yaris? I like the Yaris better, but I'm not very pleasing to the speedometer in the middle focuses lool: S

Definitely the Honda Civic, as it has been in production longer than the Yaris - this means it will be easier to find someone to work on his car outside the yaris because the mechanics will be more familiar with it - I used to work for Honda and hold their value very well, are cute and fun to drive, get a great performance gasoline, and I also believe that there is more space in the civic life - Get a civic!
