Complaints Honda Accord
Which moderately priced car is most favored by women in the areas of comfort, seat adjustments, and quality?
My mother is not as happy with her current honda as she has been with previous models. Accords have been her last three cars. The models have been LX, LX, and the current is the SE year 2007. She is about 5' 4", weighs around 115 lbs etc.
The complaints include:
Forward head rest.
The bolsters of the seat on the sides which make her sit in a rounded position as opposed to a way in which the back is more fully flat up against the seat.
Bottom of seat is shorter than upper legs so too much of legs rest beyond it.
There are not enough seat adjustments. She cannot move the seat up or down, only tilting forwards or back or sliding forwards and back.
States that she has to reach too far to the steering wheel and does not feel like moving forward more to offset that would be good for safety...too close to steering wheel.
She enjoys the handling of these vehicles, the tight turning radius but is convinced that Honda has been moving backwards in overall quality.
