Civic Hybrid History
Does anyone know how often if at all the IMA batteries have to be replaced in the Honda Civic Hybrid?
I found the cost of the IMA battery to be $4500-$6000 to replace. There is also a small engine battery which is about $100 to replace. My question now is does anyone know the history of the IMA batteries needing replaced?
^ Ok that didnt answer their question....It needs to be replaced every 8 years or 80,000 miles. One of my classes in college had to do with alternative fuels and hybrids and the civic/insight/accord and prius were talked about.
